PSAs against texting while driving may soon get a new spokesperson: Peter Frampton.
The 62-year-old rocker documented a car accident he was involved in yesterday (July 31) afternoon via his Twitter account. According to Frampton, the driver behind him on Los Angeles’ often-packed 101 Freeway was texting and rammed into his vehicle, which resulted in back and neck injuries for the singer – possibly even whiplash.
Texting woman driver just ran into back of me while I was stationary in traffic 101 freeway. Can u say whiplash? People put the phones down!

No word on whether Frampton has gone to the hospital or sustained serious injuries, as his reps are not commenting at this time. However, further Frampton tweets lead us to believe that he will not be canceling his August shows, with him cheekily noting that he’ll be “grinning and bearing” the six-show U.S. tour he kicks off on Friday (August 3rd, in Otsego, Minnesota).
I'm, "Grinning and Bearing" the tour already and it hasn't even started yet! Ouch!! Ha ha ha ha .... http://t.co/qSPe8d9e
